Look, Cover, Write, Check Spelling Activities for NLS Medium Frequency Wordlists (Years 4 and 5). Word Level Objectives: to practise new spellings regularly by "look, say, cover, write, check" strategy; to read and spell correctly the words in Appendix List 2.

Changing nouns and adjectives into verbs: use the suffixes ate, en, ify, ise
Word Level Objective 14: the ways in which nouns and adjectives can be made into verbs by the use of suffixes. -
Fact or Opinion? - decide which of these statements are fact or opinion.
Text Level Objective 19: understand and use the terms fact and opinion and begin to distinguish the two in reading and other media.
