Adding ing to verbs with short vowels
Add the ing suffix to these verbs. Remember that to add ing to verbs with a short vowel before the final letter, you need to double the last letter.
Example: in the verb "swim" the "i" is a short vowel, so the "m" has to be doubled before you add "ing" to make "swimming" .
When you have finished, check your work by clicking on the "Finished" button. If you get them all right, perhaps your teacher will let you try the next exercise, which is a little harder!
